April Meeting - B Corp, SDGs, and Drawdown: New Frameworks for Action on Climate Change
Over the last year the climate change conversation got a lot louder. Greta Thunberg was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for helping to mobilize a global School Strike for the Climate, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released their harrowing SR 1.5 report and Costa Rica was 98% clean energy powered in 2018. The great mobilization for the climate has begun. As B Corps we’re used to measuring beyond profit, doing the heavy lifting and getting results.
Our team at Cove Continuity Advisors believe we are ready to look at our companies through an expanded lens for climate action. During this 30 minute session Kristy O’Leary and Brianna Brown will share information and insights on how we are using the B Impact Assessment, United National Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Project Drawdown models to move our clients to action. Slowing climate change is not enough – it is time for Drawdown.
