During this seminar, participants will learn about the value structure behind the B Corp Certification, why it’s so appealing to social entrepreneurs, and how to become certified. Participants will also receive access to a free and confidential online assessment that measures their companies’ current impact in the areas of governance, community impact, employee engagement, and environmental footprint.

If you are a business owner or employee interested in the B Corp Certification – or simply looking to complete an impact “health check” – then this seminar is for you!

NOTE: Please feel free to bring a snack or brown bag lunch to make the most of this session.

Attendee will learn the following:

1. How B Corps differentiate themselves via their high standards of accountability, transparency, and social/environmental performance
2. The steps to becoming a Certified B Corporation®
3. How to measure your company’s current impact to gauge where it has the most beneficial impact, as well as identify areas for growth

Craig is the Director of Social Entrepreneurship at BDC, the only bank in Canada devoted exclusively to entrepreneurs. With a focus on creating a more inclusive, prosperous and green Canada, Craig is deeply committed to helping grow the movement of Certified B Corporation® entrepreneurs. Craig has more than 20 years of experience in the public, private and civil society sectors and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
