Film Night: Peloton Against Plastic Followed by Q&A with the Filmmakers

Surfrider Foundation Vancouver is beyond excited to present Film Night: Peloton Against Plastic. Join us for a movie night out, bring your own mug for beer from Stanley Park Brewery - your ticket includes 1 free beer! - snacks throughout the night followed by a live video interview with filmmakers Paul Hellier & Jamie Lepre shortly after the screening. Premiering for the first time in Vancouver, Peloton Against Plastic is a documentary that addresses how plastic is choking our planet. Don’t dwell on it, let’s act. Embark on a 75 minute odyssey as two Aussies and a bunch of eco guardians ride bicycles from Hanoi to Bangkok meeting proactive locals tackling plastic pollution.

WHEN: Thursday, November 14, 2019

  • Doors open at 7:30pm for check-in

  • Film will start at 8:15pm

  • Live Q&A with the filmmakers at 9:30pm after the documentary screening


  • Tickets - $20 per person and includes one free beer and snacks throughout the night; additional beer will be by donation

  • Bring your own mug for beer we are serving from Stanley Park Brewery

  • There will also be a raffle draw with amazing prizes from our generous sponsors and partners
